It is easy to present simulation information, especially when it matches the defect seen on the floor. Have you ever had a simulation that predicted the type and location of a defect, developed a solution, tested it, and it didn’t work? How about if the simulation did not show the defect?

Understanding simulations, their limitations, and the data provided about the defects can help you become a better simulation analyst. This presentation will show examples of what could go wrong with simulations from wrong inputs, numerical issues, not showing the defect, and many other reasons.
